Title: Sean's Zeus
Post by: Sable899 on January 28, 2010, 01:40:07 PM
I consider this a "Special Appearance"  Our Beano gets another action figure.  First Alec Trevelyan/006, then Boromir and now Zeus:

Sable,

Wasn't there also a figure for Sharpe?

There were Sharpe figures, Sandi, but not Action Figures - i.e. moveable parts.  They were mostly of the 2" tall painted tin soldier variety.

actually there WAS an action figure of a 95th Rifleman named " Dick". He was an Action Man toy which is the British version of G.I. Joe here in the US. I even reminded an English friend of mine this past christmas and I had a link but the link is gone now. He was very rare.

You can find "Dick" on Ebay now and then, but he doesn't look anything like our Sharpe.

Interesting about the 12" Sharpes.  The customized one has a passing resemblence, but the Cotswold one - from what I can see, has none.

I've seen good pics of the "soldier of the 95th" - the one named Dick and it's very well done, but isn't Sean.

A while ago, I linked a bust of "an office of the 95th" - which had an uncanny resemblance.  LoL... but I bet they didn't have the rights to call it "Sharpe"  :P

I did it with Barbie, 37 years ago. Now these days are over and I like to do other things and for that the figure should be tall and fully functional. Will it help if I stamp with my foot to make it possible.

BTW I don't want to dress the figure I want to ........ Could it be possible that someone dressed in yellow-white passed my window.  :hum:

On my way home I had a wonderful idea. I guess there is a Viggo figure too and then BJ we can play together.

They can live in a wonderful house

Drive a nice car

And maybe there will be a figure of the  :bride: too. But she won't live in  a nice house. She will help us to write a new specialist book: 1000 ways to die a horrible death. (We need a lot of Sellotap and superglue) :naughty:
