Blades supporters turning up for the first home league game against Chesterfield will see it's been a summer of change once again at the Club's Bramall Lane stadium. Most noticeable has been the installation of a new Desso pitch, watched by thousands of supporters thanks to a camera link on the club's website. Under the pitch a bore hole has been installed, aligned to a new water tank to improve the irrigation of the state of the art new pitch. Modern, new dugouts, thanks to sponsor Winchester Cars, have been installed either side of the players' tunnel, whilst inside the home changing room, the old players bath has been replaced with new showers and a fit for purpose ice bath has been installed, to aid the players recovery post match. The fans experience has been enhanced in a number of areas within the stadium.
