« on: September 08, 2008, 04:55:49 AM »
What do you think of tattoos of our beautiful boy?
Personally I think describing the character .... I have a tattoo on my ankle, I did three months ago, is a small tribal flower, perhaps in October will do a new, but in a part hidden.

I'm not much into tattoos, but I think his Blade one is sexy.  Those numbers tattooed on his wrist seem like a poor quality tattoo, though, and not very attractive.  I didn't even know about the wrist one until it was mentioned and pictured in the forums here.

is the number nine in elwish, all nine of the fellowship takes it one but in different places, I find it very sweet, I believe that the tattoo represents something important,Sean is linked to his Sheffield as to the character of Boromir...the tattoo is a wound that accompanies you throughout your life, and I find this exciting and disturbing at the same time...my tattoo is a small drawing, has no apparent significance but for me it was still a new experience, the next will be in elwish.....I had read on internet that he and Gina had tattooed their initial secretly ..... mhmmmm ... is it really true that brings bad!

The name tattoo thing is pure speculation, sophia.  Some people here who have been his fans much longer than I will tell you that.  It started off as a joke on a fan forum... about them tattooing their names.

The wrist tattoo isn't numbers, it says SUFC (Sheffield United Football Club).  He apparently had it done when they were promoted to the Premier League for the second time.  The 100% Blade tat was for an earlier promotion.

They're having a pretty successful season so far; one has to wonder if he'll get another tat if they manage promotion again.  I'll vote for the logo, small, in an unobtrusive place - but he doesn't seem to like colour, so maybe not.

should be a place, that doesnt go "southwards" easily when aging!
His back looks quite promising. I mean - matches - blades on a bladebone

If I had to guess (oh, yes, force it out of me . . . please. lol)

I'd say if he gets another one he'll put it on his ankle.  He is fairly careful to keep them small and uncomplicated, so they can be covered or modified for his roles.

I never bought the back tat with Gina's name for that reason - it might be romantic, but it's an awkward place for a man who strips off in film more often than not.  It wouldn't surprise me at all if she had his name on her lower back or arse - it seems to be very popular among younger women.  I hope I live long enough to hear them all bitching about their lower back tats migrating to their upper thighs . . . idiots.
