Sean Bean drops in on chippy - BBC News 2008

Here is the vid with the chips/Sean part. You can choose between two formates. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to keep the size smaller (each about 20mb). But I was lucky to grap the vid at all.

Put here as well the voice file.

Hollywood star Sean Bean's been speaking to Hallam FM News about his beloved Blades.

The Sheffield actor made a surprise appearance at his nephew's fish and chip shop - frying up for hungry students in Broomhill.

Sean was also happy to chat about Sheffield United, especially after the Tevez ruling finally went in the Blades favour.

It comes more than a year after lifelong Blades fan Bean joined United supporters on a trip to the capital to lobby MPs for the cause.

He tells us he's got his ticket for the Steel City derby later this month - and gave us his reaction to the long-awaited Tevez ruling.

Just click play to hear what Sean had to say...

Thanks Sylvene. Good find.

I'm not sure if the pics have a copyright so I don't know if I can post them here.
You can't save them on the harddrive without further ado . If someone is interested pm me.

They're nice pix -more natural. There was obviously quite a lot of warning that he was coming -there wasn't anything spontaneous about the shott -what a shame he couldn't have made just a teeny bit more effort... (sorry)

They may have known he was coming but he may not have known they knew.  Any number of ways they got the word that he was in the vicinity.  I see a man who is just on a day off from work going out to his favorite chip shop.  He certainly didn't seem anything but happy.  A bit tired but still happy and enjoying being there, eating his grub and visiting his nephew.  I doubt I would have made much effort under those circumstances either.  At least he seemed completely sober and not a fag in sight.  Oh, and he didn't have his readers around his neck for a change either.

He visits his family so why shouldn't he be happy. It's enough that I'm worried now that I see what he eats.

Fish and potatos are very healthy btw. But not if you drown it in oil.

On my last visit to the UK I couldn't help but notice the preponderance of deep fried foods in the daily diet.  Just thinking of a chip butty makes my stomach churn.  And they figured out how to ruin perfectly good sub sandwiches by putting a thick layer of butter on the bread first without even asking if you want it.   :vomit:

I'm a fan of fried Snickers. But don't tell the other.

Thanks for posting this link, always good to see the latest movements. I see Bean4 also indulging in fish and chips. they're terrible for the hips, but hey, tuck in girl! :mutley:
