Well, that is the production company behind it.  Anyone up to emailing the company to see if we can get a reply?
Certainly accounts for why he's was still wearing his hair quite long after Peril and Crusoe.  And the IMDB page for Black Death has put a name to Sean's character: Ulric.  And its been changed from Pre-production to In production

Medieval England has fallen under the shadow of the Black Death.

In this apocalyptic world filled with fear and superstition, a young monk called Osmund is charged with leading a fearsome knight, Ulric (Sean Bean) and his group of mercenaries to a remote marsh.  Their quest is to hunt down a necromancer - someone able to bring the dead back to life.

Torn between his love of God and his love of a young woman, Osmund discovers the necromancer, a mysterious beauty called Langiva. After Langiva reveals her Satanic identity and offers Osmund his heart's desire, the horror of his real journey begins...

Any bets on whether he survives in this one?

I"m starting to feel alittle giddy about this as I continue to look into the current status of the production.  Like LBD, its looking more and more like its a go.   :nananana:

The director has changed - Chris Smith has a considerably shorter resume than Geoffrey Sax - don't know if that's good or bad.  Interesting that they put Sean on the poster with that "one man. . ." teaser, since it sounds like Rupert Friend has the primary male role.

But Sean cut his hair, Sable - remember the pictures from the memorial?  He's got that weird short fringe again (the cut that looks like he put a bowl over his head and cut off the bits sticking out . . .)

Well, what do you think sells better to pimp a dark adventure movie?  A poster with a mean looking warrior wielding a big sword with dramatic lighting or a poster with a tonsured monk wielding a mean rosary with dramatic lighting?   :butt:

Lighty, I was thinking that he kept it long for the poster.  The haircut was recent, presumably after the poster had been done.

And that really is a mighty fine sword he has there!   :pant:

I think that's a drawing, Sable - not a photo - but I agree, that's a mighty fine sword (and profile. and hand. and shoulders . . .)

OMG!!!!!! Boromir's back!  :coma:

Ohhhhh....I like that!!!! And I don't worry about his current charming potcut. As for Boromir he could get a wig. I'm only in panic that it'll be created from the person who did his wig in Crusoe!!!

Poster is nice. I think it's him, look at the nose.

The time when we had the black death was really bad. And they knew nothing about antibiotics even they were there. And if he is the doc............... I still have a cold can he come.

A bit of an update:  Variety is reporting that HanWay Films has Sean scheduled for Black Death with a spring start.
