Oh God! 59th minute: 1:0 for Germany....(Have to shut the windows, because of the screaming outside!)

(In the case of a win Germany will meet England in the next round. lol)

Germany: Ghana - 1:0 *Phew*

Not a very pleasant game of the Germans, but at last they got the needed result.

And thank you very much to Australia! They beat Serbia and so Germany and Ghana are in the next round.

BF, Sunday will be our day!  :mutley:

I'll still talk to you TT!!

Good to know! *gg*

at the same time spain was playing in sudafrica, in spain, it was raining a lot, spain played very, very bad, but spain won,  it's funny because spain vs portugal, that means Península Ibérica, Peníndula Ibérica = Spain + Portugal

Sorry TT -too busy watching people burn all the flags that had previosuly been on their houses and cars!!  I was sitting in the garden talking to a friend and didn;t need to watch the match cos it was on in 2 places in my house and my neigbour had it on really loudly as well. We knew exactly what the score was from the yells!
To some of us this comes as no great surprise at all.
Lots of celebrating there?

I saw the match together with some friends in a lovley little beer garde around the corner. No pub without a 'mini-public-viewing' here! The streets were certainly full of celebrating people and honking cars after the match. It was a very nice and pleasant afternoon. I think most of the Germans think it was a deserved win for this very young team, but were are all a bit ashamed of the not given goal.

The legal result must be: 4:2

Watching Argentinia against Brasilia. Second half: 3:0 for Argentinia. I'm afraid next Saturday will be the last game of the Germans. lol

It wouldn;t really have made any difference!

Argentina v Germany will be a good match.

But of course TT . It was only a football match . The better team won and deservedly so . The only decent player on the England team was the goalkeeper who sadly was not properly supported by his defenders.

I was in Tesco lookin for OXO cubes. I saw beef, chicken, lamb, vegetable and
England. So i said to the shop assistant, "what is the England" And she replied,
"It's new out, it's the laughing stock!!" lol
