OK, so Martin is the normal guy. Lincoln wears glasses, and Dante combs his hair back and dresses better
than Lincoln, or Martin. If you read the book I think you would agree with me that Dante is NOT the way
you would envisioned him to be. He's a lot more easy-going in the book.

I agree - that slick, urban look is not what I envisioned thinking about Dante in the book.

In the first episode, Martin has taken on the identity of a disgruntled anti-government militia member in the Citizens of Virginia, a terrorist group that recently blew up Wichita’s federal building. An ill-timed ATF raid nearly blows Martin’s cover, but his FBI superiors put him back in to get closer to the group’s mysterious leader, known as Founding Father. Meanwhile, Martin’s trying to remain close to his young son, despite his worries that his ex-wife is writing him out of the picture.

His identity paranoia turns out to be more than a hunch, as a mysterious stranger introduces the series’ key through-line: Martin may not even really be Martin. He may not even know his real identity, which is what makes him so good at taking on imaginary aliases. From there, the show seems a bit predictably structured, but Bean lends a strong and complex presence to the idea. It’s worth watching for a few more episodes to see where it all leads

-I’ll write a full review closer to the premiere, but there was a lot that worked in this pilot. Bean’s character is a man who is deeply affected by the undercover identities he creates and there’s hints of a larger mythology that seemed pretty promising. Certainly, there’s a procedural element to it and the show won’t interest me much if they go too far down that road, but if they’re able to maintain the balance of the pilot, I could be on board. In a Q & A held after the screening (moderated by Buzzfeed’s Jarrett Wieselman), executive producer/director Brad Turner assured us that that’s the balance they’re striving for and it was part of the draw for Sean Bean to join the project.

I'm not sure, but I think I see some "dad belly" in the gun/fingerpointing photo!

(Just like the white t-shirt photo last week.) :wrong

"Dad belly"  :rofl  In my neck of the woods we call that "Dun lapsed disease" as in his belly dun lapsed over his belt. He's in a lot better shape than he was back last Summer.

I wonder if the real reason Brandon Frasier backed out because he or the producer/director realized he did have the acting ability to pull this off.  In my opinion he is an okay actor but he doesn't have the depth to pull off this complicated of a role.

BF is not a physical actor and this role certainly demands that.  Sean is - the many hours of Sharpe really highlight this. Even his fight scenes in GOT many years later are impressive.

He smokes, he drinks and  he is over 50.  He may even be packing a "dad belly".  Despite all this-he is fit.  He knows how to use his body.  It is an instinctive style of acting that you really don't see in the younger crop of actors now.

If I recall correctly, the only action role BF ever had was George of the Jungle. The Mummy films don't count cuz he was soooo badly out-acted by Rachel Weisz and John Hannah, both Brits, that nobody really remembers him being in those films.  From everything we've seen and read about Legends, it takes an actor of Sean's caliber to dig out the nuances of each different character. BF has never portrayed anything beyond a single dimension.

Hehe I snuck a pic with Ali Larter and Morris Chestnut of the new TV show Legends! Wow really beautiful people.
Nice enough to be social with me even after a long day of shooting and they just wrapped. That's pretty cool.

I wish I knew where this location was in LA. It looks like the same park that they were filming at before.

Even though I have no clue about were they're filming LEGENDS. My son and I will be back in LA on the 7th
to see if we can find Sean and the rest of the gang. If I find BIGFOOT I'll ask him where's SEAN ????
