Precap: Legends ‘Lords of War’ on TNT

Episode two of Legends offered little character development, brutal clichés and tedious build up to Sean Bean’s next persona, Dante Auerbach. What will happen when Bean transforms into a British arms dealer? Scotch, cigarettes…big tips. Obviously, he’ll need to bed up with a Russian female spy at some point. He might even tell her, “I’m very good at what I do.” Boom. Ferrari. “Jump in, darling…let’s go for a ride.”

I’ll continue watching Legends simply because of Sean Bean’s charisma and talent. The supporting characters are, well…supporting characters, but viewers will tune in for a conflicted central character with original thoughts and dialogue. Let’s see if “Lords of War” drops any James Bond references tonight.

Legends: Episode 3 Preview: Lords of War

  LORDS OF WAR Martin assumes the legend of Dante Auerbach, an international arms dealer known as the “Lord of War”, in order to track the sale of VX gas and rescue kidnapped chemist Richard Hubbard. He makes contact with beautiful arms dealer Ana Paulanos, the right hand of a mysterious Chechen mobster known as “The Colonel.” Martin develops a romantic entanglement with Ana as he gains The Colonel’s trust – but does he trust him enough to trade him all the VX gas?

I know, but I'd missed the first two episodes - still waiting for the DVD my best friend was supposed to have sent but still hasn't which had the first two on it - and then I didn't want to start watching it from episode three so I'll have to wait for the series to be shown here or for the DVD to come out.  I love her but she is so inefficient - I could cry -  mostly because I should have known better than to expect her to work out how much I really wanted to see the DVD - I bought it weeks before the first episode was shown! 

Note to self - paddle your own canoe in future.
