I sill have Hope that LEGENDS will get second season. If you do contact TNT on their LEGENDS FACEBOOK
page you might wanted to remind them that Sean is  going to be in 2 big moves next year which should
make him and the show more popular. Also he has a good chance of getting an EMMY for his acting on this
show. TNT's e-mail address is info-tnt@turner.com

I know that Dallas was recently cancelled, so hopefully TNT will not want to cancel too many other shows, but I guess it all comes down to the ratings.  It was great seeing Sean in this every week.  I wish the season had been longer.  It went by so quickly.

 :agreed:

LEGENDS has so much potential and TNT is extremely fortunate to have an actor of Sean's calibre committed to the show...hopefully they do not write it off too quickly. Fingers crossed!

While I enjoyed many aspects of the show, some of the actors just were not up to Sean's caliber. I kept hoping Ali Larter's character would get killed off... I simply detested her and she added nothing to the storyline. Not too impressed with Steve Harris either as I found him a bit grating and holier-than-thou sounding.

One way of saving the show for at least one more season would be for someone to start up a Save this Show Facebook campaign. Start Tweet-a-thons and write-in efforts. It was fans that saved Ripper Street, so perhaps someone with the time to do it can start up a Facebook page for it. I can offer advice, but I already have too much on my plate to do much more.

I agree with Sable and others. There was just so much wrong with the casting of this show! Ali Lauter is at the top of my list. Girl can't act.

Also they are showing it  here at 9pm. This is the kind of show that should be very adult and run on a specialty channel or after 10pm. This show could be saved if there was major work done on it. New supporting cast, writers that take some risks with the material. I think it needs a major overhaul.

The advance promo was all about Sean. I believe they knew that they did not really have much more than that.

Legends
Next new episode (S1/E5): Sky 1 HD Tonight, 11:00pm

Quote
  Episode Five: Rouge
Who the hell is Martin Odum? It's a head-scratching question we're this close to getting the answers to when, deemed unfit for work, the undercover operative throws all his efforts into unravelling the mystery of his past. First up (thanks to a dog- eared book and Maggie's computer wizardry skills) is an impromptu meeting with Dennis Evans, a paranoid war veteran who apparently served in Iraq with McCombs and, yup, our confused hero...

Wow!  This show just gets better and better every week.  *Knew* Sonya was up to no good, why else the change from hostile to 'cosy' with no real motive or in-between behaviour?  And the 'phone call, well, call me a smarty pants but I said to my Mum "who's there with her?" before it was obvious there was someone!

I *so* totally hope this gets a second series as I really want to know what has happened, and what is going on.

Always been really wowed by Sean's talent but this is a different league - what an amazingly good actor he is!

Len Barlow indeed - if Mr. Fairclough was still with us, and Mr. Barlow watches the show, it's a sweet homage to one of his favourite shows, and it that doesn't get him a part, then there's no fairness in the tv world!

THE PERMANENT RAIN PRESS INTERVIEW WITH MASON COOK

Quote
You can be seen on TNT’s Legends, whose season finale [aired last] Wednesday. We’re hoping it gets picked up for a second season. Until we hear more news about a new season, what has been your favourite part about filming the show?

It’s kind of a crazy story how I got involved with the show. The pilot was originally shot in 2013 when I was locked in to another pilot so there was a different actor in the role of Aiden. When the 2014 pilot season rolled around I was busy testing for new pilots in LA when TNT picked up “Legends” to series and decided to recast the role of Aiden. Just like that I was shooting the series. As a HUGE fan of “Homeland,” it was even more exiting because “Legends” is also produced by Howard Gordon. He is amazing - his shows are guaranteed to be exciting, well written and top-notch quality. Let’s cross our fingers for a second season!

Sean Bean portrays your character, Aiden’s, father on the show. How has it been working with the seasoned actor?

I have worked with some incredible actors such as Johnny Depp, Steve Carrel, and Eddie Izzard and many others. I am excited to add Sean Bean to that list. Working with him is like taking a master class in acting.  His commitment is unbelievable. One time he played three completely different characters in the same episode - 3 different accents, back-stories and intentions – and he really delivered.  On this show, and in a lot of his previous roles, Sean is pretty intense, but one thing people might not know is that he has a great sense of humor. He is very funny. Working with him is great.

Legends Renewed? TNT Look To ‘Edgy’ Sean Bean Drama As Its Prototype

Quote
TNT has vowed to create more shows like Legends ahead of a renewal decision on the spy drama.

The network, which is currently in a transition period with the arrival of new president Kevin Reilly, has promised to deliver more “edgier type” shows in the vein of the Sean Bean drama as part of its brand refocusing.Turner Broadcasting president David Levy told Deadline:

“We are going to get edgier, we are going to get louder, and we are going to get more dual (male-female), but we also have an existing audience, we have an existing fan base with a lot of our very popular show. It’s an evolution, a bridge-type process that will take place as opposed to a turnaround. You are going to see shows like Legends and Public Morals that are going to bring us on a path to a more edgier type of shows; this is a path we are taking.”

I think it makes voting for him in the People's Choice Awards even more important than ever. If he wins that should help them decide to have at least a second seasons for Legends.
