Just watched episode 6 - is it me or was there less Sean than ever in this episode?
This was a really good episode! It is so fast-paced that I was stunned when it ended, it seemed so short. Not sure if there was a lot less of him. Next week should be more, going by the title of the episode.
Ilyana and he have decent chemistry but what is it with Sean and his chemistry with other women on screen lately? Does it feel like he holds so much back to you all too? I love the looks he gives to them especially when they are supposedly not watching. It's perfect. But...when it comes to the kissing & touching bits, and the eye contact (or lack thereof) it goes a little cold.
Ouf, no... I think he and Klara Issova are hot together. And he went right for her neck and bottom, which he doesn't always do. But they cut that scene very short; I mean, the kiss was 4 seconds long! The kisses in Sharpe were much longer.
I think the most heat I saw was between him and Sophie Marceau for Anna Karenina and normally I think she is cold fish. He was great as Lovelace but Saskia was the one who held back which was proper for the story but omg talk about frustration for me. With Scarlett, I felt very little heat between him and Joanne Whalley (sp?) And that was sad because he just ooozed sex appeal in that role. I felt he "went for it" in Lady Chatterly but his costar did not unfortunately - I mean she's beautiful but again something cold there. The most heat in Sharpe was between him and Abigail and him and Alice Krieg in Sharpe's Honour. Those Sharpe's are my fave love scenes for him ever.
Maybe it depends a lot on us, and what we bring to it, and whether we like the actress or not. I mean, I can't even comment on AK because I had such an irrational dislike of SM because of those ridiculous bangs that she wears in e v e r y role. Agree with you about Joanne Whalley, but I thought he and Joely Richardson were absolutely perfect together. My favourite Sharpe kisses were probably with Teresa and Lady Farthingdale. And those scenes were long and slow as molasses compared to how fast they change scenes in Legends!
