Got his autograph when a couple of us went to Sheffield a few years ago  for the unveiling of his star of fame outside the Town Hall .

I saw him walking on the street some time ago.
He was alone. I didn't have the nerve to approach him

Told Sean Bean that when I was in a school play of The Field, I based my performance on his of the same character, which I had told him in a fan letter I had sent him about 16 years ago and he remembered it.

Some years ago at a screening of When Saturday Comes Sean Bean joined our table after dinner and not only was he great company he and the producer invited us out for drinks. He was a massive football fan obviously but we spent a lot of time talking about football, what he was doing next, films and the distribution process. He was just like an ordinary guy having a drink and a chat.
