But, the author of the book has stated many times that when he wrote the character of Ned Stark, he had Sean Bean in mind from Day One. So in this case, the role kind of chose him ...not the other way around ;-)

The Frankenstein Chronicles - VFX Breakdown

The Frankenstein Chronicles won best VFX at the IFTAS. Pleased to say that Yellowmoon helped out on nearly 300 VFX shots for the series. It was our first official project undertaken by the newly created Yellowmoon VFX department. Here's a very small sample of the work that Paul Barrett and I completed for the show.

ScreenScene release Frankenstein Chronicles showreel

This is one of those jobs that I always dreamed of being part of. ScreenScene over in Dublin were working on lots of shots for ITV’s Frankenstein Chronicles and I was lucky enough to get to work on some of the nasty head models. Although these models and sculpts look like Zombies they are actually heads of patients with syphilis. Sean Bean does not look his best in this show.

Still no air-date for TFC on A&E?

 It was announced at the MIP television conference in Cannes that the UK based ITV limited series “Frankenstein Chronicles” has been picked up by the A&E network for broadcast in the U.S.

I don't get the A&E channel anymore since I pulled out my cable TV connection. But, I imagine that they maybe holding it for Halloween as Halloween also kicks off a network ratings sweeps period which in the USA is November, February, May and July.

Maybe we will get lucky and a channel that has respect for the viewer will pick it up.

A and E was the only channel showing the new "War and Peace" earlier this year in Canada.
I understand in the US it was aired on other channels in addition to A and E.

Here in Canada they just stopped showing it halfway through. No explanation. No response to
emails from many of us. They replaced it with "Pawn Stars."
