New Top Gear host Chris Evans is bringing back his old show TFI Friday for a new series. Eight new episodes will air on Channel 4 later this year.

The network's creative officer Jay Hunt said confirming the new series was “a no-brainer” after the success of the special anniversary episode. "Chris is the best of the best of live broadcasters and I never doubted for a moment that this TFI would live up to expectations," he said.

Evans added: “Oh my goodness, are we really going to get to do this again? Looks like it – and leading into Christmas too. I might actually spontaneously explode on live television due to over excited-ness.”

 Looks like he enjoyed himself last time.

btw the Sean parts of the show are in the archives under the name "Chris Tenant Interview Pt 1" but rather bad quality.
