‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8: Sophie Turner Talks Ned Stark Reunion, Series Finale and More
Quote
Sophie Turner dropped into New York Comic Con on Saturday, for a one-on-one interview hosted by Entertainment Weekly. While most of the hour-long conversation focused on her her upcoming X-Men film Dark Phoenix, the Sansa Stark actor spoke candidly about making the final season of Game of Thrones, including a post-finale reunion with Sean Bean, who played the Stark patriarch Eddard in Season 1 of Game of Thrones.

Turner also let an interesting detail about HBO’s promotional plans around Season 8: "We did a behind the scenes thing on the final season, we had big panel where Sean Bean came back and everything. That was really emotional. I saw him and burst into tears,” she said. “I wasn't expecting that!”

Sean Bean says there’s a secret Stark family Game of Thrones reunion
Quote
The Stark family patriarch Ned has remained an enduring presence throughout Game of Thrones, but Sean Bean, who played the role, hasn’t actually been seen since season one when — spoiler alert — he was unceremoniously killed off.
But it looks like we’ll be treated to a full-blown Stark reunion, after Bean let slip that HBO had secretly filmed a one-off special presented by talk show host Conan O’Brien.

Asked whether he had seen any Stark cast members, Bean told The Hollywood Reporter: “I’ve only seen them on a couple of occasions. Last time, was about four weeks ago in Belfast. Conan O’Brien did this thing. It was the last episode, so we all got together. It was good!
