Yes, Sean is out and about, across the pond, currently filming the light-hearted indie film Any Day with Eva Longoria, Kate Walsh and Tom Arnold. There have been plenty of sightings, tweets and photos turning up and he seems to be having a good time. He'll be in Los Angeles for another week and a half.
Picking up where we ended in May, the long-rumored Macbeth project is actually going ahead. Filming is definitely set to begin in mid-January, 2014. One of the darkest Shakespeare characters, Macbeth will come to life once again in the form of British actor Sean Bean. Harry Potter star Rupert Grint and Game Of Thrones’ Charles Dance will join the cast of “Enemy Of Man”, the new Vincent Regan film. Sean looked like he had a great time!
His work as the “face” of the Sheffield WPCancerCharity. continues.
A small scale project, this time of an audio nature instead of video, is set to launch on October 31st, especially for Halloween. Sean is the voice of the new audio adventure game “Papa Sangre 2” , for the Apple IOS, coming to the app store this autumn.
There are rumours of a new movie called Isolated and another movie, with Kevin McKidd and Ashley Jensen, titled Indian Summer> (IMDB page) , but nothing is signed in blood on either of those yet.
The television series “Missing” is now available on iTunes.
Meanwhile, Wicked Blood has completed post-production. A DVD release is planned for 2014 for Germany while the director says the rest of the world will see a cinema release. The film will be shown to potential buyers at the American Film Market in November. More details will be announced as things develop.
Another project Sean has lent his velvet voice to is Train Simulator 2014. Join the movement at the official site and find out more about Train Simulator 2014. Train Simulator TS2014 is available to download from the online gaming platform Steam.
Jupiter Ascending principal photography has concluded, finishing up with extensive location shoots in and around Chicago. Expect a long post-production period for this highly-anticipated blockbuster that includes extensive special effects and computer rendering for the large amount of green screen scenes. Sadly, for us, there have been little to no photo or video leaks during the long shoot, so Sean’s look for this futuristic action film is sure to be a surprise.
Another small charity advert is set to air November 4th during Coronation Street and is supported by cinema advertising, in-store, branded Fairy bottles and a PR and social media campaign. Fairy Brands has partnered with actor Sean Bean for its latest television campaign, a commemorative advert to mark the tenth anniversary of Fairy’s support for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Highlighting the work the charity performs in granting the wishes of children with life threatening conditions the piece features a fictional wish of a child to be a director for the day on an action film starring Bean. This sees the actor fight knights, escape pirates on a miniature bike, tackles a T-Rex and even endures a pork pie explosion. Some very intriguing still photos have been seen on the web and are available in the SBO gallery.
After a busy Summer, Sean, taking a much-deserved break, was spotted frequently out and about North London and up in Sheffield. Pictures can be found in our gallery. He spent time with newly-engaged daughter Molly and her fiance and with new ladyfriend Ashley Moore. He also spent some mano-a-mano time with his olive drab big boy toy and paid a visit to his nephew's Broomhill Friery chip shop. Check the gallery's latest additions for all the new photos.
He’s also kept busy voicing quite a few new O2 adverts and one very moving advert for Prudential: The new Prudential TV commercial, narrated by Sean Bean, depicts the epic 1911 race to the South Pole by the explorers Robert Scott and Roald Amundsen. The commercial was created by advertising agency Lowe Cape Town and was directed by Keith Rose of Velocity Films. These can be found in the media archives, the Prudential advert for certain and as many O2 adverts as we have come across. He tends to sneak those in and given the numbers, its likely we have missed one or two.
