Here they are with watermarks.  I'm not overly fond of his look in these so I'm not going to ask Sarah for them.  I"m still recuperating from the negotiations from the last batch.

ITs that slicked back hair.  I detest that look on him.  That's what I don't like about the Merrick look.  His forehead is too neanderthal to be accentuated like that.

Title: Re: Something new

Well, neanderthal is what it looks like. Yes......

Sorry, I didn't even notice his hair. All I saw was that bicep and tattoo and smile and then I melted. :lovesick:

Great, Sable. I dindn't know the first one. The second is somehow familiar, but I'm not sure. Your're definitive right with the hair and his forehead. No way. And the manly rolled up sleeves.... roflmao...but I remember that was very in fashion that time.

Looking all through these rex pictures (cos apparently i have nothing else to do on my day off!) i notice somewhere near the end a still shot from a TV interview he did with Jonathan Ross in 1996. Ulrike Johnson is also a guest on the programme. I've never seen or read about that before. Do we have that anywhere in any format at all???

This isn't it but it looks like great fun and i shall enjoy working my way through this. Thanks TT.   :stars2:

The picture is ont the rex site that Mike posted, very last page of photos, page 20, fourth row down  first one on the left hand side with JR showing his pants to SB for some reason!

Back to Bond now...

Later that same day...that's agreat link TT -very enjoyable watching a little bit of Beanie!  Thanks.  (I'd also forgotten how young Jonathan Ross looked back then!)

I definitely don't like the look and i keep thinking he's got his bloody shoes on a white sofa!!

I had the same thought, beanyfan.  Didn't his mother teach him not to put his shoes on the furniture?

Besides the nice smile, I also admired his bicep and tattoo in the first picture.  It's just that his hair is so distracting.

I noticed the shoes on the sofa too, and thought If that is the sort of thing he was doing about the house, no wonder Melanie complained.  He looks rather like a cat caught up on the kitchen counter there.  The knowing smile that says, "I see you watching me disapprovingly and I know I'm not supposed to do this, but damn ain't I cute?"

OK a friend of mine forgot to record RR so she has a lot to do to calm me down.

She started with this:

Hardly!  That was definitely his scalped period . . . and he doesn't have the skull shape for it.  He's a phrenologist's dream, with all those bumps and bulges - but it's not an attractive look (imo).  I like it longer when it's clean and fluffy (like The Dark) or shorter and neat (like T&T).  The stringy mess he's had lately is not appealing, except for the overwhelming urge to get him in a stylist's chair and the buzz cut has never been on my preferred list for any man.

I do not like the scalped look very much, but I don't like his hair too long either.  It was a bit long in The Dark, but I still like that look (as you can tell by my avatar).  I like it somewhere in-between.  I love to watch him in the Sky ad from 1997.  That's a good length for his hair and very sexy to me.

Title: Re: Something new
Post by: Blue Jay on April 09, 2009, 02:17:09 PM
There is actually some poetry that would be perfectly suited for Mike. With poetry of this sort nobody will ever accuse her of not being mean Mikey. :naughty:

I hold your hand in mine, dear,
I press it to my lips.
I take a healthy bite
From your dainty fingertips.

My joy would be complete, dear,
If you were only here,
But still I keep your hand
As a precious souvenir.

The night you died I cut it off.
I really don't know why.
For now each time I kiss it
I get bloodstains on my tie.

I'm sorry now I killed you,
For our love was something fine,
And till they come to get me
I shall hold your hand in mine.

Post by: Sylvene on April 11, 2009, 11:06:09 AM
He ain't bad.  :)  All the actors had personal trainers with them and worked out regularly at the gym for this.  There were interviews with them where they all revealed how they started out pulling those skirts down because their legs were so white and skinny..and towards the end, were hiking them up to show how buff they'd gotten! A bit of flexing and chest-beating did go on there.  :D
Title: Re: Something new

Title: Re: Something new
Post by: Sylvene on July 21, 2009, 12:34:40 PM
I think lighty may have mistook the car model.  According to an older interview, he bought the Jag when he was 28... which would have been 1987?  and had it for years before it went to a friend and then his Dad.  I dread to think of the condition of it by the time he gave it a "respray" as he called it a "work horse" ... and he currently owns a Ford pickup.  :P

Ive been gazing at the pic of the house and three things come to mind;
1) Is that a round window on the side or the SUFC logo?
2) Which of the upstairs windows is his bedroom??
3) Can someone in the Belsize area PLEASE loan me a long ladder???
(Already feel like a stalker for looking at a pic of his house, so why not go the whole hog!!!!!)

It would be interesting to see what the house looked like on the inside, but I'll just have to use my imagination.

Am I the only one who thinks pic like that are extremely creepy? :sorry:
I just don't understand why anyone would want pictures of every side of his house. I mean if it was my house I'd be freaking out.

ROFL, RnR... it comes with the territory.  There are "Homes of the Stars" tours you can take in Hollywood.  Imagine bus loads of tourists driving past your front door every day.

Besides... wouldn't you have wanted to be on the top deck of that bus that passed by while Bean was romping nekkid through the woods for Lady Chatterley?

Those are great pictures, Mike--thanks!  Sean looks so good in all of them.

Did anyone else wonder if that guy in the red jacket was relieving himself against the brick wall, or was it just me?

I can see why some people might be interested in seeing how they lives, but its not for me. And no, I'd rather be the one romping WITH him in the woods nekkid.  :damn:

That or his trousers isn't a perfect fit.  :rofl

But a lot of men wear their trousers like that. Under the belly.

I know what RnR means about the pics being creepy. But really its the Paps who take them that are creepy! These people stalk celebs and snap pics of their houses, their rubbish(?), their kids, their car everything. I think Sean takes it all really well, he smiles at cameras more than any other celeb I know of! Personally, I would be yanking their cameras off them and beating them about the head with them! But obviously Sean is a lot more cool-headed, reserved and tolerant than that.
When these pics are in the public domain its much too hard to resist LOOKING at them, esp when you are interested in/obsessed  with the subject matter. So thanks Mike for posting them all, as Beanstalkers go I award you the
