:rofl BJ!

Well, he is ....... Just needs a knitted hat or a flat cap.
-
Lol--Does that make us all Norah Battys with the wrinkled stockings then??
-
Yep.

Hey, Nora is my hero!
-
I had to look up Compo and Nora since I wasn't sure who they were. That show certainly has been running a long time. It's bound to have picked up a lot of fans over the years.
I'm not sure that Sean looks too much like Compo, but that really is an odd combination of clothing he's wearing.
-
The sign of the real Yorkshireman!
-
Yes, it isn't so much that he's looking like Compo, its more that he's becoming a miserly Yorkshire curmudgeon like Compo, who, by the way, was very much a skirtchaser until the day he died.
-
Sounds pretty familiar to me .....
-
What was he thinking? :huh???:
-
What was he thinking? :huh???:
I don't imagine thinking had much to do with that sartorial disaster . . .
-
From the look of the haircut and the beard, I'd say that was a fairly recent photo. Maybe his luggage got lost and that was all he had in his carry on? Still, it doesn't come anywhere near close to the disaster that was Viggo in his soccer jammies.
-
Pic was taken on the 15. Dec. 2010.
@lighty sartorial disaster isn't the right word for a combination sweater and jacket. I'm still thinking about a the right word. Maybe we should call this reason for eye cancer the "Sean combination".

A friend of mine sent me these links but I'm sure other people posted these as well so thanks to all of them:

Cute pics; he has that 'home in Sheffield happy' look.
I wonder if he was on one of their youth teams when he was a lad?
-
I'm sure he was in one of these teams.
And he was in Sheffield. Mummy's day. Flowers and sweets
-
Cute pics, thanks Mike!
-
Thanks! It's always great to see him looking happy.
-
I think we haven't seen this before

Found this on OMG news
(http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d92/obsidian_28/Treasure%20Trove/MTX_BEAN_11748_28598693.jpg)
He was there to see the doc.
-
Interesting sign on that building. *Don't say anything snarky...don't say anything snarky...don't say anything snarky...

I thought you would see it. But there are more departments than just THIS. :mutley:
But I still don't know why he was there. He had nothing serious. Maybe a Weenie Hut General is placed there too. :rofl
-
Was he really there to see a doctor or just walking by???? :sneak:
-
Was he really there to see a doctor or just walking by????
He was really there to see the doctor.
Unfortunately we have that medical confidentiality so otherwise I could tell you more about the report. :rofl (If you ask me we can read: fake looking for pity)
-
Could just be for a medical (insurance purposes) for another job.
And he's looking happy because a) he passed it and b) by working he's gettimg away from the press for a bit
-
The OMG page states he was there for treatment after the stabbing.

You are showing remarkable restraint, Sable!

So what happened to doctor patient confidentiallity?
:mutley:

:mutley:
Right you are. Who's his attending physician? Name? Personnel number? Maybe I can get his job. :mutley:
BTW they say it "Looks like he did need some sort of treatment. We snapped him leaving the doctors script in hand" . They talked about the stabbing so they supposed that it might because of that. It could be an urinary tract infection too. OK he wouldn't look so relaxed then.
-
Confidentiality ???
Not if you've got a receptionist in your doctor's surgery like mine.
With her third degree questionning and booming matronly voice the farmer ploughing two fields away (with his ipod going full blast) can hear every detail of my ailment never mind anyone else in the waiting room or other lurkers !!
-
Leaving a medical facility with a script for Missing in hand...hmmmmm....could it possibly be that he was doing some research into the psyche of a covert intelligence agent?
-
Sable the script is alienated. It's written under the text.
If he needs information about medicine or science he naturally asks me. :wellll: I give him everything he needs.
BTW we have doctor patient confidentiallity beyond the grave. I get very touchy if doctor patient confidentiallity is missused.
@Annie kick her into the butt the next time she is using her voice so loud. And tell her I come over if she doesn't lower her voice. :mutley:
-
Paul is his character on Missing, the name of the episode is Alienated. Apparently, he's going to have scenes in every episode according to the production people.
-
Or maybe he was there by pure chance. Or visited someone.
We never will know cos I have doctor patient confidentiallity. :rofl
-
Thank you Sable that sounds like good news!!!! I can live with Sean being in ALL the episodes of Missing!!!! :hellyeah2: And
I don't care if the show is that good or not as long as he's in it!!!!!
-
Of couse I would like to see Sean in a good TV program, than a poor one. Because a bad show will get cancelled. Anyway is it
just me or does he look a little too thin ???? ( In that last shot of him at the doctors office ) His pants look too baggy. Hope he's
wearing a belt!!!! :holycrap

A new one from the Handsworth Party
(http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d92/obsidian_28/Treasure%20Trove/1965863386.jpg)

Sure looks like he is having fun. That is his dad right?
-
And it’s the type of thing the down-to-earth movie star does for real.
Four years ago he handed an achievement award to his own local hero – Maurice Littlewood, who has worked tirelessly to improve the neighbourhood, running community groups, organising festivals and environmental improvements in Sean’s home village of Handsworth.
Retired engineer Maurice, 75, chairman of Handsworth Forum, also set up Amy’s house respite centre for parents of disabled youngsters, in memory of his eight-year-old granddaughter who died of meningitis.
Sean helped to secure a £400,000 makeover for his old stamping ground, towards creating a new community park on the run-down old recreation fields where he remembers playing football with jumpers for goalposts.

That's a great smile! He really seems to be having a good time.
-
How absent-minded that I didn't post the link where I found it. Hope you condone. Hope I can condone myself.
-
Thanks for clearing that up patch. I guess I saw a family resemblance that really isn't.
-
As I said Handsworth Party.
