I wonder if he met Steve Googan (Alan Partridge) on the set of Percy Jackson. He would've  made him laugh!
We know Kevin McKidd did.

This would make him smile at least.

Sorry, but this is the first time I actually see what a chip butty looks like and it's very early in the morning...*shiver*

Thanks, patch. I'm always delighted to learn something new.:-)

I've read that they can also have tomato sauce or ketchup on them.

Oh, and apparently the Canadians also put cheese curds on theirs as well as the BBQ sauce.

I wonder if Sean prefers a bun for his chip butty, or if he would rather have it on sliced loaf bread?

No TT, I didn;t but chip butties are more typical in the north of the country.
Now i've ahd enough of this British grub bashing!! (and XB and i have stoode this ground before here!)   Don't tell me that you haven't all got something horribly unhealthy that'a a well know delicacy. I had a wonderful portion of chips in Amsterdam which was the size of a small castle and i could have smothered it in a hundred different types of sauces -including mayo.  In the UK the size of portions served in the US is always a matter of humour and awe.  These things are everywhere but it's a matter of choice about whether you eat them or not.
Other equivalents of the chip butties from other countries please??

lol, BF. Fair enough.  :foryou:

A special from my region. Called: Currywurst mit Pommes 'rot-weiß'. (sausage in curry sauce and chips with ketchup (red) and mayonnaise (white).

Eek!  Those pictures are stomach churning, tinytim, and not just because I don't eat meat.  :vomit:

Every country has fatty, unhealthy, and/or rather disgusting dishes.  We have a lot of fried foods in the southern US.  This topic made me think of Elvis Presley's favorite snack, a fried peanut butter sandwich.  It consisted of white bread, mashed bananas, peanut butter, and butter (or bacon fat) to fry it in.  It could also include slices of bacon on it.

OOOOOK!! I just barely made it a minute, so I wonder what this has to do with yuckie food?

(even though I find it somewhat interesting, in the pure scientist way, I didn't have the guts to watch it all)

And, yes, I know you warned us.
