Sean's already found his place on the World Christmas Tree. Someone must have paid 10$ to put him on that tree.lol

(Click on the tree and you can zoom in to see who's there as well)

Fascinating.  I'm always impressed when people come up with ways of getting other people to give them money for doing absolutely nothing.

Come now... they had to program the web pages and pay for the bandwidth.  I wish I were that smart!

Nasty comments on that article.  geeze.  If the lady was proud of having had Sean as a student, then it was her boast to make - pretty damned churlish of some know-nowt to suggest that the article shouldn't have been written as it was (or at all).

Sometimes it really is true that if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all.

She sounds like she had a fulfilling life. Sympathies to her extended family.

I've just read the comments. That's really mean. And stupid! Seems to me, she was a tough and experienced lady. My thoughts go out to their family.

I read that story this morning, but didn't see the comments until now.  I don't know why people have to be so negative and mean spirited.  Why couldn't they just comment on her long life and career and leave out the snide remarks?

Filmed in the same year, Far North, showing on March 22, features Sean Bean as a Loki who helps a young woman being hunted by soldiers in Lapland.

Wow.  Could they have possibly gotten that synopsis any more wrong??  It will certainly be a surprise to the viewers when they discover the real plot!

If you change "helps" in "shags" it's a lot nearer the truth. And pulease, what is A Loki?

Yeah, I know, but in the article they call him A Loki, as if it's some kind of species and not a name.

Well if you wikki it a loki is a sort of god helping shape shifter, so it can be a something. Someone juist hasn't seen the film or done their research.

I'm sorry to be such a bore, but Loki is the name of a Norse god or jötunn or both and not a species. Nobody is called a loki, that was my point.

I swear, that Steve Cowans is looking seedier and seedier all the time.  All he's doing is fattening his wallet.  If it was 100% profits go to a specific charity it would be different.

*devil's advocate post*

Oh, I dunno.  Those prints are the one's Sean signed for Steve last year (year before last?).  He did it so Steve could sell them - it wasn't associated with a charity at any point.  He's an entrepreneur and Sean helps him out.  I don't think he can write his way out of a paper bag, but he doesn't seem like that bad a bloke.  Just a bloke.  Look at that picture on his website (of he, Gary, and Sean) - if you didn't know who Gary and Sean were, would you see them as any different than Steve?  (actually, if you didn't know Sean, I suspect he'd be singled out as the seedy one . . . damn he was plastered!)
