OH, and just wanted to add, that I always get a chuckle when I see him do his goofy grin, like the middle one in the bottom row. I have a feeling that one is the real...it's too cheesy to be acting.  But eh, I know nothing.....;)  Thanks again for the s**ts and giggles!

I was further tempted when HBO decided to make a TV series of it with my neighbour Sean Bean. (He drinks in my local and it was highly embarrassing when he saw me reading the book.)

Although we've not seen anyone famous on our recent visits, a barman told us one night that, when Sean Bean was at Stratford he was actually a member of the Dirty Duck pool team for the duration of his stay!

About Sean in National Treasure

Among all the clues, ciphers and symbols scattered about this movie, did you catch the one pertaining to Sean personally? He drew it on the paper that is pictured.

The most famous person I’ve ever met was Sean Bean who was in Leeds filming the Red Riding Trilogy for Channel 4 a few years ago.
“My then girlfriend and I went up and spoke to him and he was really lovely, quite shy actually and seemed a bit embarrassed that we wanted to speak to him at all. He was happy to have his picture taken with us and everything and overall we were struck by how nice he was, which, somehow, is something you don’t always expect from a TV and movie star.

I've only ever heard positive comments from people who have met him. It seems, so long as the fans are respectful when approaching him, he is always polite and very often signs items.

Scotland's Gerard Butler named UK’s best groomed celebrity

Yorkshire actor Sean Bean, Manchester United footballers Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs and Scottish comedian Billy Connelly all made the ‘scruffy’ top 10

The "scruffy" top ten is a good title for Sean's category.  I like that.
