Shaky start, finished the second half better (obviously).  Next three matches are mid-table opponents (MK Dons/Crewe/Stevenage) who haven't been showing great form lately, but . . . MK Dons won the last encounter and we drew Crewe.  Stevenage we beat the pants off of, so they will be playing with a grudge.

So, not an easy three.

Not surprising given the weather we're having.

I had taken the big blanket off the bed last week - it's gone back on in the last couple of days

It was awful, really.

I don't think Danny is going to survive this season - not that changing managers (again) will help.  Of course they could always ask Warnock to come back . . .

Club Statement

Quote
21:45 10th April 2013

Sheffield United can confirm that manager Danny Wilson has left the club this evening.

First team coach Chris Morgan will take temporary charge of the Blades for the remainder of the 2012-13 campaign, starting with Saturday's home encounter with Swindon Town.

Assistant manager Frank Barlow has also left the club.

Blades owner Kevin McCabe commented: "We must thank Danny and Frank for all their endeavours and hard work over the past two seasons.

"We now have a mini season for this club to achieve success and we will all back Chris in this mission."

Sheffield United has purposefully waited for conclusions to talks on Wednesday evening before making this announcement. More to follow on Thursday

Rarely does this turn of events end well . . .

Good luck, Morgs.  You're going to need it!
