I would love to have heard how he got on with Clive Anderson cos he's another one who tries to outsmart his guests verbally and they have to be pretty quick off the mark to hold their own!

Thanks for the link, beanyfan!  I didn't see a date on the article, but I assume that this took place recently. Sean's hair looks a lot blonder than it does in that shopping photo that was posted here a few days ago.

His hair does look a bit lighter in that pic. Maybe its just the lighting.

I think it's fairly current MF -this was an indoor evening do so the loghting will be quite different from bright Newcastle fresh air!

It certainly seems that this event took place only last week but I have trolled the web looking for other references to it, and found none. Even The Woodland Trust official website fails to mention it, very strange. It must have been a very intimate affair. Princess Beatrice usually draws the paps and jounalists en masse, as do all the royals, but not a single snap, curious. But nice to hear our boy is still a tree hugger!

I did notice that it was the same blogger.  Maybe Sean made such an impression on her, that she can't stop blogging about him and the event.

I'm glad that Sean is still a tree hugger, since I'm one too.

Well found everyone.  Amazing... that there are so few trees in the UK.

It's not bad at all, but I think they want to preserve what's there.

Refraining from putting on pedantic historian hat and talking about old forest devastation in old England . . . you can thank me later . . .

Seems to me that the charity event was before the 'shopping' picture - his hair looks like it isn't just lighter, but longer and shaggier too, at the charity bit.  The blonde blogger seems to have her calendar a bit confused too -- in the second one she refers to the event as last night (or was it yesterday?), but it's dated the 12th.  A bit odd.

If you zoom out to 66 % you can see a nice small pic of Sean.

That's the first time I've ever used the zoom feature on my computer.  I tried 66%, but it was still a bit blurry.  I got a pretty good picture with 50%, even though it is pretty small.  Thanks, patch and Mike!
