Bad Taste Award of the Year!!!!! Bad Taste Award of the Century it should have said! Now she may have a degree in psychology and therefore she may know exactly what the audience wants, but it SOOO bad taste. It's bad enough when they turn the book into a movie and do it badly, but at least I can assume they tried. In this case they hitch a ride on the fame of something already there and turn it into a cheap horror flick. Easy money.
