So, does anyone know the longest span of time between a movie being made and being shown? Isn't two years moving into record territory?

The movie is finished. They are having a hard time selling it. A lot of independent companies are having a hard time right now. One of the impacts of the current economic clime.

It is an independent production, so that means that there is no studio supporting. The producers have to go and find their own distributors in order to get it into theaters and released on DVD. Since the film is now actually completed, perhaps it will make the festival rounds this next year.

I know a copy-editor... and I love her to death! She's so fast and absolutely marvelous when I'm up against a tight deadline and need help. It's a pity that these places don't run their pieces by a copy-editor.

To the publisher. I believer Merriam-Webster is a subsidiary of Encyclopedia Brittanica, but your copy could have been another publisher . . .

Just out of curiosity, what's the error? (that's pretty interesting - I don't think I've every caught a mistake in a dictionary!)
