Okay, perhaps this was not so much an error as questionable judgement. It was in the glossy section with all the maps, etc. I was just glancing through the flag section and noticed that the Israeli flag was captioned as Magen David, rather than Mogen David. Now, granted, both are technically correct (Magen David - Shield of David, Mogen David - Star of David), but the latter is the more familiar phrase, I think, especially to Americans. Given that Yiddish is, though no one cares to admit it, a German dialect, one would think that Webster's would wish to avoid the amusement of any German speakers.
