Some Holiday Reading - Lord of the Peeps
« on: December 28, 2009, 05:18:43 PM »
Blue Jay was showing me a Stonehenge Cake and I recalled Lord of the Peeps and found that the site still existed.  Over here in the States, Marshmallow Peeps are a sickeningly sweet candy trotted out at Easter - and they started out in the shape of chicks.  Hence the name peeps, but are now available as little bunnies as well as chicks.  People here make all sorts of things with them.

Microwaving them is the most fun . . . but general peeps research is good fun on a boring day.

Though I have to admit, I never pictured SB looking quite like this:

He looks quite yummy there. I want to nibble on his ears.

'course... he always looks yummy (that goes without saying, but I said it for clarification.)  :giggles:
