Another new project???

Ok, I'm starting to scratch my head over all this work that our boy is piling up.  Don't know how confirmed this is, but if its a real project, we may just be seeing him in a fantasy romance.  Maybe TT knows something about this since she mentions having written it for "the Germans".  From the Twitter feed of fantasy writer Diane Duane:

In other news, I just found out that the two-night TV movie I wrote for the Germans last year is going to star SEAN BEAN. (drool)

Mysteriously I can't comment as I seem to have signed a confidentiality agreement this evening. :(

I know her as author of some Star Trek books and she wrote the script for an episode of Start Trek - The Next Generation. Together with her German husband - Uli Edel - she wrote the script for a quite successful two parted German TV production called: Der Ring der Nibelungen (The Dragon King) broadcasted in 2004. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Kingdom:_The_Dragon_King. If this German production is meant, the information from twitter feed must be old and is unfortunately wrong.

Btw. Her husband in a well known director in Germany. In 2008 he directed 'Der Baader Meinhof Komplex', which got some international estimation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Der_Baader_Meinhof_Komplex

Thanks for all that info, TT.  I'm wondering if perhaps she is talking about a UK remake of the German production? I'd love to ask her some questions that wouldn't violate her "confidentiality agreement", but I couldn't find any contact info.

That would be awful, but I wonder why she wrote 'last year'. Dark Kingdom was shown in Germany in 2004.

BTW. I wrote rubbish: She's not married to Uli Edel, but to Peter Morwood. Sorry. lol
