Great pictures Patch. He is so young in these, from 1992. This was before he got cut by the boat hook by Harrison Ford. Thanks. I have not seen Fools Gold. I have been looking for a copy but they are expensive and hard to find.

I rented Fool's Gold from Netflix, najinboulder, but I just checked and it is not available right now. I also checked Blockbuster.com and they do have it. You can get a 30 day free trial, so you could rent the movie for free.

I believe you're right. I thought initially that the costume was early twentieth-century, but it really could be 1980s, couldn't it!

Once again thanks Patch. He is very young in the first picture. And he has always been handsome but you know I like the last picture better and pictgures of hime now, like the ones of him going into the hotel in Istanbul. Maybe because I am older I like him older, but he has definetly aged well.

Thanks Patch. I like the link to that site. Essex Boys is the movie that made me realize what a really good actor Sean is. It is so different from his other parts and he made me really dislike him in that role.

Nice choices, patch! Love the first one - chuckled at the third (he looks like a pouting toddler) - and wished I had the video of that interview from "The Dark", because he was clearly very animated during it! *ignoring the head on spike and wax figure . . . lol*

Interesting to see the infamous 'kodak color' picture of Antonia, circa 1819 (could you hear the collective groan from viewers when that first aired? It looked lame in the brief instant it was shown - worse in the still!) Can't believe the producers allowed that. I know they were on a budget, but they honestly couldn't come up with something better? I suspect the child might be a relative of one of the producers, but 2 minutes in PhotoShop would have made it look like a daguerrotype, at least (which didn't exist for almost twenty years more, but whatever . . .) - or better still, a drawing or painting.

Cannot figure WHY they slipped up so badly - the films are really quite good at avoiding historical anachronisms. Somebody was asleep at the wheel, I think.

Thanks for all the pics, patch! It's nice to see all the different looks of Sean's characters, and the interview photo where he is really excited and happy.

That photo of Antonia looks like some kid's school picture. Someone was evidently not thinking there.
