Well that will teach me not to go and get a coffee when my train is late. The splattered down the front look is not good.
The first series of Accused was really good. Jimmy McGovern is not a writer to pull any punches and, given how good the first series was and the big names they pulled in for the main roles, I think Sean is lucky to have got the part he has. (I suspect they are much sought after and he may have had a fight on his hands to land the role). If this series carries on in the same vein as the first then it's unlikley that you'll see any tired old storylines but something quite possibly gritty and thought provoking..
I have to admit - the thoughts going through my head when I saw the pict ure in the paper were -
1. What ???
2. Actually he looks quite good as a woman
3. Did he consult Ms Summers on dress sense?
4. Did he consult his daughters on how to walk in heels and have they stopped lauging yet?
