I love his hair when it's long, but I think Sean likes his hair to be a lot shorter. So my guess is that this is for a up coming role that
he's work on. Benny maybe ????? :slyfox

That might make sense - as would the rather deliberate (it seems) development of the paunch and general letting himself go.  I never thought he was a method actor, but he's looking more like an alky bum every day . . . and Benny is described in that fashion (and with long "70s hair", too).

I like Sean's hair at any length, to be honest, as long as it's ... um ... washed. Oh, Sean. *sigh* Showers are your friend.

The idea that his "new look" is for a film role is interesting and makes a lot of sense. I hope it's for a film role actually and not because he's depressed and not taking care of himself.

Sean may have to prove to the investor's on this project that he's OK with looking bad and out-of-shape. They know that's NOT
his usual image. That would explain the strange pic's of him recently. After all he's looking right at the camera in most of the
shots !!! :slyfox

All these pictures are reminding me of Jeff Bridges from The Big Lebowski. He had to remake his image to play THE DUDE.
So this is a little weird, but the other day I was on Deon Meyers facebook page and he posted a picture of Jeff Bridges in that
role, but no comment as to why he put the DUDE on his page. That's strange. :slyfox

I would like to think that he is doing this for a role.

Lighty you were saying that you never thought of Sean as a method actor. I have always heard that he was NOT ONE . A method
actor much be the character 24-7, Sean ( I've read time and time again ) can go in and out of character in a flash!! When he's not
acting in front of a camera he's just Sean, NOT Ned or anyone else. Method acting was developed in America and most people
in Europe think that it's dangerous and causes mental problems. The young actor that played the Joker killed himself ( accidentally)
because he could NOT stop being that character.

Ah - didn't realize that Heath Ledger's death was connected to his method acting.  A shame.
Glad that Sean doesn't do that nonsense - I knew a couple of kids in when I was in college (back in the prehistoric era I studied theatre - the technical side only) who were into method acting.  Total tw*ts.  Really.

I suppose we have to consider the fact that Heathrow may have forgot to put his bag on the plan and he had to resort to buying locally, in a rush, in the only shop that was open at the time.

Or he really does have awful taste.  He probably buys what feels good and not what looks good.  Someone should tell him you can do both.

He has pretty good taste in suits - this was a choice.  Only he knows what prompted him to make it, but he survived it . . . and so shall we!

It could have been sequins . . .
