:mutley: As they say, if the shoe fits........ I think they have made a very appropriate pairing. The only thing that seems a bit off are the forearms. The rest... well,... what can I say... I'm sure it will be quite memorable. He's always loved doing this sort of voice work.

Sean has such a GREAT VIOCE. I have often wondered why he hasn't gotten any work in animated movies.
Hollywood nepotism, politics ?? Who knows. Anyway, I'm glad He finally will be in an animated film. I just
wish it was with Disney, or Spielberg. My question now is are we going to be able to see it on the big screen
in the states ??? Or only on a DVD ??

Sean actually does a lot of voice work.  He has done a lot of documentary work and some poetry and some games.  There is bunch of stuff in our Gallery.  Check it out.

Thank you Najinboulder. I'm aware of Sean's voice work, however the point is that none of this work is for
an animated movie. Which seems strange to me because he would be prefect as a cartoon character. People
love to listen to Sean reading books. If he was an interesting person or cartoon animal in a film that would
be even better and more entertaining for the whole family. So I'm glad he's finally getting a chance at being
in an animated movie. Maybe Disney will take a look.

I liked his voice in that lion movie with Kate Winslet.  He does have a great voice.  I kinda wondered why they didn't ask him to voice one of the characters in How To Train Your Dragon....my son is 4 and we've watched it probably a hundred times...anyways, I alwys think Sean would have been great in it.

Doing voice work for anything is contingent on schedule, just like any other project. They take nearly as much time to do as anything else. I'm sure he's had plenty of offers, but, unless the recording is being done in UK it all depends on scheduling and where the recording studios are. Disney and Pixar films are all done in the US, so scheduling them is more problematic and requires him to be away just the same as on any film location. Pride was done in a London studio, so it was easy for him to do it. He's said one of the reasons he likes voice work is that he can stay at home and doesn't have to worry about wardrobe and makeup, which means he doesn't have to get up early and is free to carry on with a normal life at the end of the day. They are regular hours instead of the grueling schedule of video projects. He just gets up at a decent time and goes down to the recording studio without having to care about what he wears, much like a regular job.

AFM: Russian Cinema Nominates 'The Snow Queen 2' for Golden Globes

Quote
Foreign cartoons will compete alongside Hollywood fare for the first time at the awards ceremony next January

Russian cartoon The Snow Queen 2 has been nominated by national film sales promotion body Russian Cinema for the Golden Globes.

The film, produced by Voronezh- and Moscow-based Wizart Animation following the success of The Snow Queen in 2012, which sold to over 65 countries worldwide, will compete for the first time with US movies for 'Best Animated Film' after a rule change by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which organizes the awards.

The movie, based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, is due via simultaneous day-and-date release next month in the UK, South Korea, Poland, Israel, the Middle East, Baltic States and ex-Yugolsavia, as well as Russia and the CIS. It will be rolled out in China, Malaysia, Turkey and other territories early next year.

A full 3D English language version of the cartoon was screened Friday for the first time to international buyers at AFM.

Nominations for all categories for the Golden Globes will be presented by the Hollywood FPA Dec. 11, followed by an awards ceremony January 11, 2015.

It looks like a very cute, fun movie for kids. I'm glad it's up for a GOLDEN GLOBE, maybe this film will show
in American theaters. Other wise we'll have to wait for the DVD to come out.  :frustrate:
