Here is one we DON'T want him to win!

The Telegraph put together a list of the worst Irish accents in film and Sean is on the list. Maybe you might want to vote for someone else to keep our boy's numbers down. There are lots to choose from!

Most of them are pretty bad!  Do we all decide on one or two and vote repeatedly for those thus ensuring they 'win' and he is way down the list with, I have to say, what I thought was a decent accent - I think his American isn't always so good, he loses something in his voice when he does an American accent - but his accent in "Patriot Games" was very good.

So what two would people think are the worst and then we can concentrate our efforts?

I just voted for Julia Roberts...that accent was awful! Sean is not faring too badly at this stage.

I agree with you Amber...I think Sean's accent was just fine!

He was much improved by the time he did Patriot Games, but in The Field he was simply awful. Good thing he didn't have that many lines in it. But I do agree, there are plenty of actors who are much worse.

It was hard to chose, since there were a lot of bad accents in that group of actors.  I went with Tom Cruise as the worst.

It was really him. He just had a good voice coach. In The Field I don't think he had any coach at all. Patriot Games had a bigger budget.
