lasue, I hope you are correct as I have been voting and getting the "Thank you for your vote" and it not showing that I voted. I will also keep voting.

Maybe the problem is, it's a Wiki site

They actually counted my first vote today - it went from 44 to 45. Then I tried again after opening a new private window, but that vote didn't count, or at least the total didn't go up.

This is a very WEIRD WAY TO VOTE !! So I voted just now. I wonder how long you have to wait before it counts
your vote ?? 12 hours, 24 hours ???? We need to know.

It would be nice if there were some rules posted as to how often one can vote. I just voted and got a thank you, but the count didn't change.

Well I voted yesterday and they added in the vote today. So now Sean has 46 votes. So I guess I'll just vote
once a day and see what happens !! Sean has gone from 5th to 3rd in this poll. I would LOVE to see him in
the number 2 spot !!

They must be adding in our votes. Their just taking hours to process them !! I voted twice yesterday and Sean

It's the oddest poll counting I've encountered - just managed another vote but that's with trying every day for the last three without success - weird!

OK !!!! I think they just counted the votes today, because Sean (STINGER) is now at 52 votes !!!

As usual, the count didn't go up when I voted, even though I got a thank you. He is at 54 votes now.

I wonder if people who aren't members of this site have been voting? That might explain why our votes don't seem to be counted any more, but the vote count goes up at times.

The last time I voted it was added to the tally straight away!

That was vote #53. It seems that it will let you vote more that once...it is quite hit or miss though!

Unless I am having a senior moment, a sudden burst of voting had shot him up to 96 when I looked just now, and I finally got another one counted after three or four days so I suppose we just have to keep plugging away with this temperamental poll.

Nope, you are not having a senior moment.

After being frustrated with this Wiki poll, I did a little experimenting and I figured out a way to vote and have it record all my votes.

Not sure if this will work for anyone else. At the moment, AT&T has turned my house (& a 2-block area) into a Dead zone, while they are updating equipment in a small switching station behind my house. So, I am back to a dial-up connection and it is easy to log off and on to my connection to my Internet provider.

I opened Mozilla Firefox and went to the Jupiter Ascending Wiki web site, I voted and a small miracle occurred, it recorded my vote.

Leaving Firefox open and the Jupiter Ascending Wiki web site up, I logged off my Internet provider and logged back on and voted again and it took the vote.

So I logged off and then logged back on to my Internet provider and voted again and it took the vote. I have had to close Firefox and re-log onto the web site a couple of time to get it to record my votes but other than that I have just left the web site up when I have logged on and off my Internet provider.

I continued to do the log off and on bit in order to build up Stingers votes.

He is now up to 102 votes.
