Anyone who is selling stuff on eBay should check their listings now - eBay are up to their usual sneaky tricks - bastards!
They have changed their rules so that from August 17th, re-lists are to be charged for. The first re-lists will come out of whatever is left in your twenty free listings monthly allowance, but, beyond that, they will be charged at 35p each.
What a surprise - SO NOT!!!!!! - to find that they are breaking their own rules already, and will catch a whole lot of people out with fees they should not be charged and good luck with getting those fees back after the event.
So, the arrangement was that every listing that went live before the 17th would be as it has been of late i.e one free automatic re-list (provided you wanted that and ticked the relevant box), however, I put some listings on that went live on the 16th (before 2200 hours) and they now show a box which says a re-list will be charged a fee for - totally against their own policy statement!
Likewise, listings that were put on nine days ago and are about to have their supposedly free re-list tomorrow show the same message - a lot of people are going to be caught out with this, and eBay make a nice lot of money in fees so please don't be caught out - check your listings now, and un-tick that box!!!!!!!!
