UK TV Play have the answer – as they are now streaming the entire first five series of iconic police soap The Bill – and it’s just what we need for that nostalgia feeling. The crime drama ran for 27 years before ITV destroyed our souls by dropping the axe after a format change failed to lift ratings. Huge stars such as Sean Bean, Hugh Laurie and Keira Knightley appeared in The Bill over the years and if you can name us a soap star from the era who left their show and didn’t do a cameo, you’d be a genius.
