BritBox, the joint BBC Studios/ITV streaming service, has unveiled its summer slate, which includes the acquisition of some of the U.K.’s top dramas as well as original fare.Among the offerings are “Luther,” which kicks off the streamer’s “Mystery Month” in July and stars Idris Elba (“Thor”), and “Time,” the new drama featuring Sean Bean (“Game of Thrones”) as a middle class man who finds himself navigating life in prison.The streamer has also unveiled a new original documentary series, “In the Footsteps of Killers,” which follows Emilia Fox (“Silent Witness”) and criminologist Professor David Wilson as they explore some of Britain’s most horrific murders.BritBox already streams a number of iconic British series including “Downton Abbey,” “The Fall” and “Agatha Christie’s Marple.”
